Which Hand or Which Cheek? Timon Krause's New Book is OTW [updated!]

Update: You can now pre-order Timon's upcoming book, On Cold Reading: Theory and Practice, here.

MindFX recently announced that Timon Krause has a new book on the way. Attendees at Blackpool will probably get first dibs, but they'll be opening their registration list for interested people very soon.

Most of us know Timon Krause from his Which Hand routine on Penn & Teller: Fool Us. If you own Timon’s Which Hand book, you already know it’s as clean and pure as it looks.

But here’s what many magicians—especially outside Europe—don’t realize: Timon’s got a whole other thing going on. The guy’s a walking thirst trap in the best way. Across Europe, his personality is a chick magnet, and he goes on tour leaving a trail of damp panties in his wake.

That’s not on him, though.

He’s just doing his job exceptionally well, and women are eating it up. He’s not exactly packing theaters full of dudes. A female friend of mine went to his German-speaking show in Zurich a while ago. Pretty sure she’s still recovering from a 2-hour panty sauna.

Timon doesn’t stop there.

It’s a double gut-punch for magicians: the ladies can’t get enough of him, and he’s closer to being the next David Blaine than the rest of us sad bastards will ever be. The featured photo is Timon getting his cheeks pierced during a ceremony in Thailand. You can watch the entire episode here. If you don’t speak German, turn on the subtitles and set them to English. He makes another appearance here.

And a whole bunch of other places, too.

Because why the hell not?

Meanwhile, the rest of us are grinding away in the DDC, loyal nobodies under the command of Samael and the rest of our keyboard warrior overlords. While we drop our hard earned money on overpriced magic conventions (CH, cough cough!), Timon’s out there in Europe, getting bigger, badder, and harder to ignore. That sexy beast is on fire and you probably didn't even know.

You might want to hop on the MindFX email list. While we can't spill any more details about the book, it’s worth noting that Which Hand became an instant hit—making this upcoming release one to watch closely.
