Old News May Not Like This [Video]

Magic Fairy Dust of the Day: Paul Gordon has reprinted a paperback version of Gold Dust, which is now available for purchase here. This is a highly elusive title, so you may want to grab a copy while it's available.

Yo, yo, yo –

Comin’ at ya live from the yard, fam.

Ya boy still here, still kickin.

Mexican ain’t rockin the boots today, so everythings lookin pretty copasetic out here for the moment. I can write "copasetic" on dis tiny phone, but I sure in the hell can't say that shit without stutterin.

New Guy is officially Old News. And, lemme tell ya, Old News prolly ain’t gonna like this post. But that’s cool—I ain’t too fond of how my appeals process keeps gettin delayed either. DA’s on some BS, straight up dodgin my attorney’s motion for discovery.

But hey, we still rockin.

Gonna keep this short and sweet, fam.

I always thought Card Warp was straight fire—a banger of a trick that knocks people’s reactions sideways every time. But you know why I never loved it? Too few people got great presentations for it.

But Old News brought the heat -

Not gonna front—

There’s a difference between a magical experience and a novel trick. Card Warp has that “novel trick” type vibe. A magical experience can be presented as a novelty, but sometimes novel tricks just don't make the cut to be a magical experience. But that doesn't mean you should be sleepin on Card Warp.

Look at how Old News has that flow locked down in the vid—smooth as butter. And Bill Goodwin? Yo, his Siamese Twins routine takes Card Warp, drops in some spicy stuff, and serves it up scorchin. Another straight-up banger.

Not sure how we still out here messing up a great trick when Jeff dropped Cardwarp Tour a long time ago and things like Siamese Twins also exist.

Anyway, gotta get some reps in now.

Deuces, fam. Stay up.
